July 14, 2024 Live Oak Baptist Church of Cove, AR has begun its search for a Pastor. We are a small, Independent Baptist Church nestled in a very beautiful, rural area near the Ouachita Mountains. There are lots of state parks, fishing, scenic, and recreational areas nearby. The population of Cove is just over 300 and is about a 20-minute drive to Mena, AR (population 5600) to the north and about 35 minutes to De Queen, AR (population 6000). We are right on the Oklahoma border, about halfway between Texarkana and Ft. Smith and it is 88 miles to Hot Springs, AR.
Sunday morning service attendance is around 20. We are unapologetically a KJV-only church and enjoy traditional music and hymns. We are NON-CALVINIST. We are looking for a MAN of God that is qualified according to I Timothy 3. We are debt-free with a beautiful church building with plenty of space to expand.
Our next Pastor will need to be self-supporting as we are not able to provide a stable salary yet but will provide a small love offering. A nice 3 bedroom, 2 bath mobile home parsonage is included as part of the compensation (utility bills are paid by the church).

Our church has grown from 6 to 20-25 in the last 2 years. Our next Pastor will help us continue to grow. Our attendees consist of all ages including several school-aged children.
